This film captures the journey from Berlin to Prague on a winter's day in February. As one of the first train films I made, it was formative in shaping my style. Sunlight occasionally pierced the blizzard, while pastel-coloured buildings mirrored themselves in the River Elbe. Even a tiny fox made a brief appearance through the frame. The film concludes with me anticipating a crisp sip of Pilsner in a cozy bar - which, happily, is exactly how the day ended.
