I take photos from train windows.
I’m Katie, a photographer, creator and digital artist, based in Brighton, UK.
In 2024 I created the project Portrait of America, photographing the US through the train window. It was exhibited at the Observatory Gallery, London. Since then I've been on a mission to travel most of Europe by train, which I've completed in June 2026. With all these images I'm now building The Train Window Archive.
Last year I've created my first book, about one of my favourite train journeys from Berlin to Prague.
I also craft short videos for Instagram and TikTok, drawing inspiration from the details I observe within the journeys.
I'm looking to take on 1-2 clients for bespoke social media content creation. You can find more information here.
