This film focuses on a brief stretch of Paris Métro Ligne 6 where the route runs above ground, famously offering glimpses of the Eiffel Tower. Yet the film is not solely about the iconic monument - though it fits perfectly within the elongated windows of the MP-73 metro cars. Through these windows, it’s possible to sense the personalities of Parisians, reflected in their daily lives and apartments. I was determined to capture this using the older train model, even if it meant waiting on the platform for over an hour at times.
